Pip's Envelope Project

I was so excited upon seeing a post this morning that I just had to mention it here;

Lovely miss Pip from Meet Me At Mikes is running an 'Envelope Project', wherein you send her a decorated envelope with something little inside ('You might send : photos, pages from magazines, ribbon, swap cards, vintage patterns, notes, shopping lists, little (lightweight!) zines, sweet wrappers, stickers, really... anything small, light and interesting would be ace'), making sure to put your return address overside. For six weeks, each thing she receives she will photograph and upload to Flickr, and then at the end of the period she will draw one random envelope and she will send that person EVERYTHING that she received in the mail. Doesn't that sound awesome?

100 ideas by keri smith: 1. go for a walk. draw or list things you find on the the sidewalk.
2. write a letter to yourself in the future.
3. buy something inexpensive as a symbol for your need to create, (new pen, a tea cup, journal). use it everyday.
