^ eklektick (via mrypwrs - Mary curates the best pictures to her Tumblr). I used to make postcard collages out of stamps - I think I should start again!

^ Beatriz and I have been emailing each other for the past few weeks, hoping this little beauty would turn up. Bea sent it in June and it finally arrived after a stop off in quarantine where they took out the tea she'd included. Sad, but I'm glad it arrived in the end! Her drawings are so cute! She draws a much more accurate Australia than I do!

^ A beautiful first letter from Charlotte, full of pretty paper hearts.

^ Sirpa sent me such a great letter. It was an excellent read, she writes grand letters! And, she sent me this pretty knitted wrist warmer which smells just delish (she sprayed the letter with her perfume, yum!).

^ A very sweet letter from Ria. Last letter she included some New Mexican sand and this time she sent me some NM grass from her lawn!

^ A sweet postcard from Carrie Marie, who found my blog via Micaela.

^ This postcard came from a sweet lady in Spain, but the postmark has covered her name and I can't quite read it! I think it's Mariau! Thank you lady! Hope I spelled your name right!

^ My August BPS postcard from a lovely lady named Patty. I loved her calligraphy!

^ And a delicious first letter from Liz. Another wonderful read.

Sadly ew-nie werk has been weighing me and the letter output down. Hopefully next week, a week without any assignments, will be a fruitful letter week! These few envelopes are full of free postcards people have ordered - I still have lots to share - I'd love to send you some!

Now I'm going to lie down, dose myself up on pain killers and heat up a wheat bag to put on my shoulder. I have done something very traumatic to my collar bone (C says it may be from bad bike riding posture) and for the last fortnight, every night it gets me. Ouuuuch.

loving sirpa's red hot chilli pepper envie! also looking forward to getting some good luck from that horseshoe...
I am also glad that my little something arrived but I am so upset at the Australian Post as they spoiled the second drawing and stole the tea I enclosed for you!!! :O I cannot understand why they had to remove the tea from the envelope. It was harmless! It was Twinings brand, which is very good in my opinion, and I thought you would really like it as it is the one I am drinking these days! I am so sorry you cannot taste this wonderful tea now. :( I have no idea if there are some restrictions regarding tea in Australia as I had in mind you have already received teabags from other countries... Let me know about it and I will re-send this tea to you!
As always lovely postal items! :D
wow. I'm so excited that my letter got to you! It always excites me to no end to know that my mail actually got through. I'm silly that way!
I'm going "art supply" shopping soon, so i'll be able to get more decorations! So excited!

I always love coming to your blog and just saw an envelope address to me, so excited to get some postcards from you. I shall have to have regular stops at the cafe' here to see if your avant cards turn up there. Shall send you a letter in return when these arrive :) Hope you are going well xo
Those are some of the best envelopes I've ever seen! I especially love the little rainbow stamp too.
I also just started a project combining my love of snail mail and photographs and I'm looking for a few more people to get involved. If you're interested, take a peek!

Thanks if you do. =]
Ooh, I must get my childhood stamp collection from my parents' house. Two fat albums full. I was at these markets when I was in Brisbane and one crafty lady had decorated a bracelet with these butterfly stamps from the 80s (back when a letter was 37c or something). I'm sure I have those pretties in my collection.
I can't believe quarantine confiscated Twinings tea but they let grass through. Maybe they figured it was dead and therefore harmless. Who can understand them. Did they offer to send the item back to the sender for $50?
Hi, hope it's OK to contact you here. We would love to include your blog on our giveaway search engine: Giveaway Scout (http://www.giveawayscout.com). Have a look and if interested, use our online form to add your blog (http://www.giveawayscout.com/addblog/ ). thanks, Josh
I really hope your collar bone will heal up soon!
Perhaps I could sew you a heat wheat bag cover or something?? lol!
@cerebral e: I also don't understand why they confiscated the tea. It is shocking to me as it was a totally inoffensive beberage-to-be and they put my envelope on quarantine! :O I couldn't find either that Australian Post forbides sending/receiving tea... so it is sure they are drinking the tea now! And for now I didn't get the tea back and no compensation because of this. :O
hiya! I'm from the UK and I've always been interested in the whole penpal thing :) I was just wondering how you started, as in how you found people to write to! :P
Love the site btw, it's too cute <3
