I thought it might be fun to have a (probably very occasional) section documenting interesting mailboxes seen around Launceston. I've already spotted a couple I know I'll have to go back and photograph. I spotted the one above on our way to a house inspection last week. I love the pastel shades. I'd love to pull my mail out of this pretty thing.

I think that would be a great idea! Even in Sydney I see many a weird and wonderful mail box in my travels! This is a very pretty one!

It's colourful and pretty. When I went to QLD for holidays last year. We were driving from Airlie Beach to Mackay alot of peoples letter boxes were old microwaves! How funny is that?
Thanks for letting me know where you got your helmet from. I'm going to check out Newcastle and Sydney before making a stupid decision and buying that expensive helmet. I think no matter what I look like I'll feel like a dork on my bike too.
