I really like my street. It is tiny and one-way and neighbours put your bins out for you (still getting used to this) and today we got a Christmas card in the mail from "Kaye at No. 8". Today I took a (short) walk and tried to photograph some bits of it.

+ when I got home.
What do you like about your street?

great pics! especially the guard cat! makes me miss australia ^^

Great pics, thanks for the tour! Your street looks and sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love my street because we have a kind neighbour who also brings my bin in if I forget, lets us pick lemons from his tree and gives us tomato plants and other lovely produce,if I stand in my driveway (or lean out my bedroom window) I can see the ocean and because my Nan lives in the street behind, and my great Nan lived in the house a few doors up when I was little :)
I love this, it is so cute! I have recently found your blog and I am so happy I did.

Your street is very cute. :) My street has a bunch of old homes from the 30s and 40s so it's often used for filming in LA. My building though is 1 of 2 brick buildings from the 1920s and there are big trees in the front.

a perfect little street with perfect little houses...it is truly adorable. All of it! *ugh* I on the other hand have people that randomly drop their garbage in our front yard, this week it is a bucket of KFC coleslaw *sigh*
ReplyDeleteLove the house with the blue door! So cute

wonderful pictures. great shot.
ReplyDeleteYour street sounds lovely! It's cute that someone gave you a Christmas card. I always want to do that but I feel too shy...
ReplyDeleteI love our end of the street because we live opposite an artists co-operative and they have a really pretty garden which faces our front windows! Our area is all little old cottages like your street too, I think they are so pretty~
Oh, my! I love the guard cat! Haha!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun week! :P

Totally sweet way to document your street - such an Aussie feel to it too
ReplyDeleteHi! Awkward lurky follower here, and fellow Launcestonian.
ReplyDeleteI was excited to see you took a picture of one of the 'Mister' tags around town. I was excited when they started popping up about the place, almost each one in a different font. I have this daydream of one day hopping on my bike and zapping about, trying to get a shot of each one.
